COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION PACKAGE - $200.00

(Additional $30 + federal filing fee for each additional registration. Based on new fee regulations in effect May 1, 2014, federal filing fees vary depending on the type of work being registered and the number of authors; see below for more information.)

Packages include:

A 30-minute consultation with CVL's copyright attorney to assess your work and any other IP-related needs;

Completion and filing of a copyright registration application with the U.S. Copyright Office, and submission of deposit materials and filing fee;

CVL will mail your copyright registration certificate to you once it is received from the U.S Copyright Office.

New Filing Fees with U.S. Copyright Office: Single works with one author and claimant (not "for hire") are $35 if filed electronically. If your work has more than one author or a different claimant, then the new "Standard Application" fee is $55 for most works filed online. Paper applications now cost $85 to file. Fees for different types of group registrations vary from $25 to $85. CVL will assess which type of application your work needs for registration and inform you of the associated filing fee during your 30-minute consultation.

Limited Services Agreement

AGREEMENT FOR LIMITED ADVICE AND LEGAL SERVICES BETWEEN YOU ("CLIENT") AND CREATIVE VISION LEGAL ("THE FIRM")

The agreement to advise you begins at the time the Firm has received payment of your fee through the credit card system and will end after the Firm has provided you the task or service that you have purchased.

- You are making no commitment to use the Firm's services at any time in the future, and the Firm has not agreed to represent you by, for example, going to a hearing or trial with you, preparing your case for trial or providing any legal assistance other than the limited legal advice services listed on the page that describes the particular service that you are purchasing from this website. The Firm will have no further obligation to you after completing the task that you have purchased. 

- The Firm has made no further investigation of the facts and we rely entirely on you, the client, to provide the facts of your situation.

- Once payment is received, an attorney/client relationship is created between the Firm and you. HOWEVER, BEFORE PAYMENT IS MADE WE MAY DECLINE TO GIVE YOU ADVICE IF A CONFLICT OF INTEREST EXISTS.  For example, if the Firm discovers it has already advised your business partner on a matter adverse to your interest, representation will be declined.
