Traffic Court

Most drivers have been ticketed at some time or another, and their experience with traffic court may be paying a fine to the clerk or attendance at a driver's education course. However, traffic courts govern a range of legal processes, other than just accepting payment of fines. The judge of a traffic court can issue arrest warrants, set bail and, in some states, preside over jury trials.
