Separation From Employment

It is not uncommon to hear that a friend or relative has lost his job. Maybe you have personally experienced a recent job loss. The likelihood that an individual will be let go sometime in their career is extremely high. Often the separation will be due to no fault of your own. Companies get acquired, downsized, have economic hardships or just elect to close their doors.

In other situations an employee may have brought the separation upon themselves through excessive absenteeism, theft, insubordination, breaking work rules or by failing to perform the requirements of the job. Whatever the reason for the job loss, it is important that you put it behind you and get ready to move on to the next opportunity.
