COP 7 - Objection to Court of Protection of LPA registration

Use this document if you wish to object to the registration of a lasting power of attorney (LPA) and you are an intended attorney in that LPA or a named person in receipt of form 'LPA 1 - Notice of intention to apply for registration of a lasting power of attorney'. Your reasons for objecting must be one or more of the prescribed objections you can use for the Court of Protection, which you can find in the notes for form LPA 1 and can also on the Office of the Public Guardian's website. You must file this objection within 5 weeks of the day on which you received the LPA 1 notice.
